Shipping & delivery
Yes. We ship worldwide, except to Russia, Ukraine, Israel, Palestina and Belarus.
Will I have to pay duties/taxes outside the EU?
Yes, local taxes and duties are not included for non-EU orders.
What is the processing time before shipment?
Orders process within 48 hours on weekdays. After carrier pickup, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation; tracking may take up to 24 hours to activate.
How long does shipping take?
You can choose free standard or (where available) paid express at checkout. Estimates are also shown on product pages.
Will I receive a tracking number?
Yes—when your shipment leaves our studio. You can also track it in your Monies account under the order.
Can I change my delivery address?
Possible only before processing has begun.
Do you refund shipping?
For EU withdrawals within 14 days we refund the cost of our least-expensive standard delivery (express upgrades excluded). After day 14 (within our 30-day policy), standard shipping isn’t refunded.

Can I cancel my order?
Only before it’s prepared for shipment. Otherwise, return after delivery.
Can I change or remove a piece?
If not yet processed, email info@monies.com. After preparation, changes aren’t possible.
Return & exchange
Return within 30 days of receipt. Items must be unused, in original condition, with all tags attached and box packaging intact.
Is there a return fee?
€15 (EU) / €20 (Non-EU) deducted from your refund.
How do I initiate a return / get a label?
Email info@monies.com and include your order number and purchase email. We will email a shipping label on request.
When do I receive my refund?
3–5 business days after we process your return, to the original payment account.
Can I return to boutiques?
No. You may personally return online orders to the Monies studio in Copenhagen within 30 days.
Can I exchange an online order?
We don’t offer direct exchanges—return for a refund and place a new order.
What if I receive a damaged item?
Email your order number and photos to info@monies.com.
Tax & duty
Taxes are included for EU orders. For orders outside the EU, local taxes and duties are not included—please check your import fees.
Can I claim taxes on online orders?
No—tax claims are only available for boutique and studio purchases.
Are taxes/duties reimbursed if I return?
No—charges collected by customs or carriers are set by local authorities and aren’t refundable by us.

Yes, but availability of our Jewellery team isn’t guaranteed without a prior appointment.

Contact us by phone, email, or WhatsApp. Private appointments are available on weekdays from 9:00–16:00 CET.

How heavy are your pieces?
Some designs are intentionally substantial. Exact gram weight is listed on the product page. If it doesn’t feel right, you may return it within the standard window.
What does “one-of-a-kind” mean?
A singular handcrafted piece made in our studio from natural materials with its own style number (U1/U2/U3/U4/U6).
Do pieces come with a certificate?
Yes—one-of-a-kind jewellery includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
Are stud earrings available?
Selected smaller styles come with sterling silver studs; most earrings use clips due to weight/size. Use the “ear studs” filter.
Can you convert ear clips to studs?
Some styles can be made with sterling silver studs or pin/clip combos for a fee. Email info@monies.com with the style number before ordering.
Will metallic foils change over time?
Yes—metallic foils can develop a soft natural patina with frequent wear.
Do natural materials vary?
Yes. Color, grain, and texture vary by nature. Each piece is handmade.
I’m sensitive to weight—what should I choose?
Opt for smaller styles or materials like wood, horn, amber, or acrylic and check the gram weight on the product page.
Repair & warranty
2 years from delivery against manufacturing defects. Misuse/accidents are not covered.
Where are repairs made?
At our Copenhagen studio by our artisans.
What covers the one-of-a-kind lifetime warranty (U1/U2/U3/U4/U6)?
Free repair for normal wear, rethreading, and minor fixes. Accidental damage isn’t covered.
How do I request a repair/warranty?
Email info@monies.com with order no./receipt/certificate, photos + description, and your return address + phone.
Can I bring a repair to your boutiques or studio?
Yes—you can drop off repairs at Paris, Milan, or our Copenhagen studio.
Company
MON‑YES two syllables (MON like “Monday”, YES like the word). It’s our founders’ family name. Common misreadings e.g. “mo‑nees”, “moneyz” occur, but MON‑YES is correct.
When was Monies founded?
1973 in Copenhagen by Nikolai and Gerda Monies. We celebrated our 50th anniversary in 2023.
Who leads Monies today?
Karl Monies, son of founders Gerda and Nikolai, leads the house as Creative Director, channeling a material-first vision and deep respect for the natural world into our collection and one-of-a-kind pieces.
